My suggestion, as I am somewhat familiar with this type of problem, is the word "not" in your response to her should have appeared in caps...I believe she may have simply skipped over that word and it would have made more of an impact if done in this way. Now, if that should fail, I believe your lovely wife has the right idea, and relocation to New England wouldn't really be that bad, would it???

If it's just email, doesn't your server have a way to block unwanted emails? AOL lets us block whatever email addresses we want blocked & returns them to the sender as undeliverable. I'm sure you thought of this but just wanted to throw it out there, in case. Sounds like it might be easier to just delete her emails & ignore her... frustrating as that might be.

Actually, this 'parasite' is not using FaceBook as her venue, but rather just E-mail. Clearly context clues are not her forte'. ARGH!!

I am so sorry to say this but I have met this woman and I do not believe there is anything you can do. You might contact the FBI and check your options in the witness protection program. If accepted, I want to be relocated to New England . . . or Olde England. :-)
